One of the factors involved in promoting health is physical exercise. The feet are the basis of the locomotor system and hence the importance of their treatment and care, since they are decisive to promote health throughout the body.

The Degree in Podiatry will provide students with the knowledge and skills to identify and apply the concepts of biostatistics, use the search systems and biomedical information, know, handle and discriminate biomedical information and interpret and communicate scientific and health information.

These studies will train health professionals, who must be able to make clinical diagnoses and develop exploration techniques, both manual, biomechanical and radiodiagnosis, in order to choose the appropriate treatment for each case.

The current market demand is caused by the boom that the podiatric socio-professional sector has suffered in the last fifteen years, manifested by the high qualitative and quantitative development of Podiatry Clinics, the incorporation of the figure of the podiatrist and podiatric care the multidisciplinary teams of many healthcare, sports and prevention centers. This makes job placement relatively fast after completing Podiatry studies.

Before applying for the issuance of the degree, the students enrolled in this Degree must prove that they have obtained a level of linguistic competences in a foreign language equivalent to level B1 of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). More information

Admission and Enrollment
